Weekly HT blog

Dear Parents/Carers,

Well what gorgeous weather we’ve had this week. Our school grounds look beautiful as all our summer plants and flowers begin to bloom. It`s been amazing to see all classes learning outdoors - in the forest, the "downstairs woodland", in our gardens and in the village.

Class blogs - please click here to see the amazing things classes have done this term!

Reminder re warm weather after half term

The long term weather forecast looks set to bring us warmer days ahead!  Don’t forget sun hats, a full water bottle to stay hydrated, and to apply sun cream before school!  See poster below.

Reminder re school uniform - please click here

Please note - short cycling/gym type shorts e.g. nike pro etc are NOT school uniform and must not be worn to school.

Tabernacle Toddlers

For the last few months the toddler group have met at at our school, whilst the Church building is being repaired following a flood. Every Tuesday morning mothers, fathers, and  grandparents grace one of the classrooms and have a wonderful time, led by Mary and Yvonne . The toddlers partake in lovely activities and have a story time.  Early socialisation is very important and of course the parents/grandparents get to enjoy each others company.

Roz and Kirsty

We hope that parents/carers are happy with the photographs taken by Roz and Kirsty.

If you have any feedback we would be interested in hearing it. Please email the school or give Mrs. Beynon a call.

Nursery attendance

Please can parents/carers of Nursery children remember to report children's non attendance. This can be done phoning the school office and leaving a message, or by sending a message via the school website. Many thanks for your support.

Our Library

We are coming to the end of redecorating our school library.  As you can imagine it's costly but we think will be an amazing room for children to relax and read.  We are waiting for our carpet to be fitted, and have a few finishing touches to add!  Look out for photographs very soon!

Baby Talk

Following the success of our Baby Talk classes, we will soon be hosting another session, commencing 7th June at 10am.  If you have a baby between the ages 0 - 12 months or know of anybody who would be interested in joining the class, please get in touch with the school office to reserve a place.   During one of the sessions the class will be visited by an Occupational Health Professional who will offer advice and support to parents.
