Literacy
We wrote an instruction text about how to make a monster. It was really fun. We made sure we had time connectives and imperative (bossy) verbs.
Numeracy
We started to learn about using bus stop method. We use this for division. If a number can’t be shared equally we write a remainder e.g. 18 divided by 4 is 4 remainder 2
Topic
This week we finished writing our fact files about organs in the human body. We had to draw a labelled diagram and write important facts.
St. Dwynwen’s Day
On Tuesday, we read the story of St. Dwynwen. We were given pictures from the story and had to put them into the correct order. We then did a true or false activity based on the story. We also designed our own love spoons.
Mr. Urdd
We became record holders this week! We were all filmed singing Hei Mr. Urdd for the Urdd’s 100th Birthday. Mrs. Davies uploaded our video and we beat the previous record for most videos uploaded.
