Borfa- Day 2

When we woke up, we had a huge cooked breakfast and cereal!

After breakfast, we did some orienteering at the centre. We had to find clues to spell out Culver Hole.

After this, we grabbed our lunch and set off in a long walk towards Oxwich. We climbed massive hills to the top of the cliffs.

We had to abseil down to get to the beach. On the beach, we played a team building game where we had to jump on circles and race against another team. We then had to climb back up to the top of the cliff.

We then had a reaaaaaallllllyyyyy long walk over the top of the cliffs and back to Borfa House. We were happy to get back but tired.

We’ve just finished our evening meal and now we’re off on a ghost walk.

Borfa- Day 1

We’ve had a wonderful first day at Borfa!

When we arrived, we had a quick tour of the building and unpacked our clothes. After we were all settled, we walked to the beach and explored the sand dunes. Next we had lunch out in the sunshine.

After lunch, we investigated the salt house ruins. They were owned by the Lucas family a long time ago.

Next, we walked up a very steep hill to a stone at the top. We needed a sit down and relax after this!

We then walked along the cliff until we got to Culver Hole. Legend has it that they stored stolen goods from ships. Eventually we walked back along the cliffs and made an elephant and a frog with beach materials.

This evening we played some games on the beach. We played rounders and football. Now we’re all chilling in our PJs!
