Weekly HT Blog
Dear Parents/Carers,
What a great week we have had. This week Y4/5 went on their Misty Mountains expedition to Penwyllt which lies in the upper Swansea Valley in Powys, Wales, lying within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The class had an AWESOME time and we were so fortunate to have our very own Brecon Mountain Rescue expert, Dominic Turpin, who made this such an incredible experience for our pupils. Parents/children can bring items into school week commencing 23rd October. Many thanks for your support.
Tummy bugs and infections
Please can I remind all parents that it is the time of year when all schools see lots of colds and bugs. In order to minimise the spread of infections we ask that parents do not send their child to school if they are unwell.
Schools are required to adhere to the Public Health Wales infection prevention and control guidance re the 48 hour rule for those children with gastrointestinal illness/Diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
ALL children with these symptoms must stay away from school for 48 hours from last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting
