Headteacher's blog

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a very busy week especially since the news of our Estyn inspection after half term.  We hope that parents/carers attend the meeting on 7th November at 3.45pm in the school hall.  Childcare will be available, please contact Mrs. Beynon for more info. Thank you for everyone who has completed the Estyn questionnaire, your feed back is very much appreciated.

Shwmae Day was a huge success and children really embraced learning Welsh phrases and interacting with each other in our 'speed chatting game'.

Clubs next week W/C 24th October

Due to 2 nights of parents` evenings and the Halloween disco all clubs are cancelled next week.  Clubs restart after half term and the info will be shared next week.

Colorfoto

Colorfoto will visit us on Tuesday 25th October 2022 to take individual photos and sibling photos.  Photos for families with babies/toddlers will take place at 8.45am.  Parents will need to sign in and wait in the school gym.

Attendance

We are proud to announce that we have the second highest attendance in the Swansea Primary Schools for Autumn term 1 with 96.2%. It is vital that children attend school regularly to receive the best possible education and to mix and socialise with their peers. Well done children and parents/carers.

Breakfast Club

Please note that the final entry into Breakfast Club is at 8.30am. After this the door will be closed. If you are a few minutes late, please ring the intercom or bring your child around to the Main Reception Office. Please remember that your child is to be dropped at the door and that parents cannot bring them down into the hall. Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

As a token of appreciation for all our amazing supporters, this  Halloween the School Lottery is giving our supporters the chance to win a fantastic prize – a family ticket for the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, AND a theatre voucher for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It’d make the perfect trip for fans of the wizarding world! And of course, that’s on top of your chance to win the £25,000 jackpot! See poster below.
This special draw takes place on 29th October. There's no need for existing supporters to buy a separate ticket for this draw, as you'll be entered automatically. Of course you're welcome to buy extra tickets to increase your chance of winning, and give your school a valuable fundraising boost!
Good luck in the lottery and thank you for supporting our  school.
