Headteacher Weekly School Blog

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last week we were super busy and had a wonderful week with St David`s Day and World Book Day. We have been told all our classes will be in the Evening Post Little Saints supplement this week  , on either Tuesday 8th or Wednesday 9th March. Thanks for your support with both events.

This week we will be making reference to International Women`s Day, which is held on Tuesday March 8th and we will be celebrating the successes of three women ,who have strong links to Penclawdd Primary. We`d like to thank them for allowing us to share and celebrate their journey to success!

Each class participated in a range of wonderful activities. Classes had been practising during Welsh week for the final performances in the recital , singing and dance twmpath. We had handwriting and art competitions too ! Criw Cymraeg helped to do some of the judging. Diolch to Sarah Hopkins, Artist and Governor for being the guest judge for the art work. Please enjoy this little clip...

📚World Book Day📚

What a ball we had !!! We celebrated by having a non-school uniform day and could make and wear a reading hat. The reading hats were INCREDIBLE !!! We had a lovely day listening to authors , having a reading quiz, playing musical reading and much more !
