Spring 2 2026

Well, what a jam-packed little half term we have had!!! It may have only been short but we have fitted so much in!!

We have celebrated St David’s Day which was absolutely arbennig!! We sang our favourite song Sosban Fach and danced our Twmpath to the whole school!!! We were so proud of how confident the children all were!! The whole school were super impressed too!!

We have been super busy for British Science Week too!! We had the pleasure of having mark from Technocamps come into class and explain to us how robots work! We even had the chance to programme some bots around the classroom! It was super fun and so interesting!

With Spring time comes chicks of course, and we have been so lucky to have had chick eggs from Will’s Farm in school!! We have waited patiently for them to hatch, checking on them every day for 3 weeks!! And now we have 12 gorgeous little chicks living in our school for a few days!! They are so cute and the children have loved watching them being born, eating and drinking and maybe even pooping!! We have had some cuddles too and they are so happy – we love to hear the chirping!

The weather has made such a difference these past few weeks and we have thoroughly enjoyed being outside and the fresh air and even the sunshine! We have been potion making, car washing and even snacking outside!! Let’s hope for more nice weather next term.

Our last week of term has been a super busy one, with our Easter bonnet parade, a visit from the Easter bunny and an egg hunt! The children made wonderful Easter bonnets and were so proud skipping down our very own bonnet catwalk! So much confidence and energy and an abundance of smiles!

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter break, we look forward to hearing all the stories when we return to school!
