We’ve had an incredible few days filled with festive cheer and community spirit!

🎄 Our Friends of Penclawdd Christmas Fayre 2025 – What a Day!

What a truly wonderful event! The Christmas Fayre was enjoyed by all – full of festive fun, laughter, and community spirit.

A huge thank you to our incredible Friends of Penclawdd team, who worked so hard to make the day special. Their creativity and dedication brought so much joy, and they also raised much-needed funds for our school – we are so grateful for their support! From the stalls to the games, the treats to the smiles, it was a perfect way to celebrate the season together.

Jingle & Mingle with the Penguins

Our Nursery penguins absolutely melted our hearts today! The tiniest cuties gave the biggest performance – lovely singing, some fab little dance moves and plenty of festive sparkle. It was so special to see our families joining in the fun and enjoying decorating a Christmas cookie with their little one – lots of smiles, sprinkles and magical memories.

Today our hearts are full.

Jingle All The Way was everything we hoped it would be – Christmas songs, shining smiles and a truly special sense of community, all outdoors in the fresh December air. This is exactly what our authentic curriculum is all about – learning and celebrating through real experiences, together.A huge well done to our amazing children for their brilliant performances and to our wonderful staff for all the hard work (and festive fun!) that made it so magical. Thank you to our fantastic families who wrapped up warm, joined in, clapped, sang and shared the joy with us – your support means so much. And a special diolch to Will’s Petting Farm and Charlie the donkey and the for helping us bring the Christmas story to life. And to Chris for the delicious cawl

✨ Friday 5th December – Santa Dash Fun! ✨

Nursery to Year 2 took part in our Santa Dash as part of the daily mile, and it was amazing – so much fun, fitness and laughter! Seeing the children running in their festive gear was pure joy ❤️

We had The Grinch, Mrs Christmas, elves, Santa, and more dashing around – with plenty of jingly bells, sparkles and smiles all the way round the yard. What a brilliant way to keep active and celebrate the season together! 🎄🎅

A huge thank you to our fantastic staff, families and community for making these moments so special and memorable.

 

Tiny chefs + big technology = one soup-er morning !🥔🧅🍲

Our Nursery Chefs had a brilliant time using our new soup maker to whip up some yummy leek and potato soup. There were:

• Lots of laughs 😂 and giggles while chopping and popping veggies into the soup maker 🥕. 🎬 Hilarious outtakes included:

• Deciding we were actually making sausage soup at one point 🌭😂.Announcing that today’s special was “radish soup” (don’t worry, it wasn’t! 😅) • Dropping “stinky onions” on the floor and giggling about the smell 🤣 Verdict from our mini food critics: “Delicious!” 🧑‍🍳⭐ Click here to see ! 

 

🎶✨ Christmas Choir & Cocoa – Let’s Jingle Together! ❄️☕
Join us on 18th December at 3:10pm for magical Christmas Choir jingles and a cozy cup of hot chocolate on the yard.
(Who knows… it might even snow! ☃️✨)

🎉 Our Choir on tour 

Penclawdd Choir on Tour is officially OPEN FOR CHRISTMAS!

1st stop of the season: The Crofty Inn Christmas Market – and what a way to kick things off! Our amazing choir brought all the festive feels with Christmas jingles and plenty of smiles.

Huge thank you to The Crofty Inn, our staff and our lovely community for singing along, cheering us on and spreading the sparkle.

✨ Tuesday, 2nd December
Our PPS School Choir joined our lovely friends at Cuppa Club, Penclawdd Community Centre, for their Christmas celebrations. The children sang their hearts out with festive favourites and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Thank you to Cuppa Club for the warm welcome – it was magical! Click here to enjoy it! 

 Christmas Fayre at Penclawdd Rugby Club! 

Join us on Saturday 13th December, 11am–5pm for a festive-filled day the whole community can enjoy! Expect a brilliant range of stalls, including our Local Man Shed and Sewing Club, plus delicious mulled wine and mince pies to get you into the Christmas spirit.The event will be opened by the Penclawdd School Choir, with a special performance from the Penclawdd Brass Band later in the day. Bring your friends and family and join us for some festive fun!
