🎶 Our amazing choir sang beautifully at the Remembrance Service at Penclawdd Memorial Gardens. Their voices filled the air with respect and harmony as we paid tribute to those who served. 🏛️ Our Senedd showed fantastic leadership and creativity by planning a range of fun activities for Children in Need. From games to challenges, there was something for everyone to enjoy! 🎲🎨

💛 Children in Need 2025 💛 Thanks to the generous support of our wonderful community, we raised a fabulous amount to help make a difference. Your kindness and enthusiasm never fail to amaze us! 🙌✨

💙 Go Blue for Universal Children’s Day! 💙

What an inspiring initiative from our Rights Ambassadors! 🌍

On Thursday, we celebrated Universal Children’s Day in a very special way. Children took the lead by wearing blue and stepping into the shoes of teachers for the day! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

This exciting “Take Over Day” was all about empowering our pupils to think deeply about their rights – the right to education, to play and relax, and to feel safe. ✅ It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to plan lessons, make decisions, and experience leadership in action. 💡

We saw creativity and confidence shine through as they explored what it means to have a voice and make a difference. The Starfish chose to play maths games, have a PE lesson and carry out their own missions.

Santa Dash - Daily Mile - December 5th 2025

 

🎅 Santa Dash – Friday, 5th December!

We’re getting festive and active! On Friday, 5th December, our school will be taking part in the Daily Mile Santa Dash. Pupils will enjoy a fun run or walk around the school grounds while wearing something Christmassy – think Santa hats, tinsel, or festive jumpers!

🏅 Prizes for the Best Dressed Pupils
🎅There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the most festive outfits!

✅ Please make sure children wear comfortable clothes and suitable footwear for running, jogging, or walking.

We can’t wait to see lots of smiles, sparkle, and holiday cheer as we dash into December!

Join us on 18th December at 3:10pm for magical Christmas Choir jingles and a cozy cup of hot chocolate on the yard.

🎉 What a fantastic evening at Penclawdd Primary!

🎨✨ Our Donks Paint Gonks Christmas Paintalong was a huge success, thanks to the amazing Fran from Fran-tastic Art Moments.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families, friends, and members of our community came together to enjoy a creative, festive experience filled with laughter 😂 and beautiful artwork 🖌️🎄.

It was wonderful to see everyone having fun and discovering their artistic side 🎭💫.

🌸 We’re already looking forward to doing this again in the Spring—watch this space for details! 🌼🌞

Christmas Cuppa Club 

 We’re thrilled to be invited by our lovely friends at Cuppa Club Penclawdd Community Centre to join their festive celebrations!
Our PPS School Choir will be singing Christmas favourites on Tuesday 2 December at 10:30am at Penclawdd Community Centre.
Pop in for a warm welcome and plenty of Christmas cheer. Nadolig Llawen!

This would greatly assist us in sorting out lost items of clothing.  We recommend STIKINS as they produce labels which you simply stick onto clothing.  (no sewing or ironing is needed!).
