✨Cluster Indoor Athletics Tournament✨
With the West Glamorgan Athletics Tournament unfortunately cancelled this year due to track refurbishment works, we were determined that our young PPS athletes would not miss out on an opportunity to compete and showcase their talents.
As our children have such a passion for athletics, Penclawdd Primary School decided to take the lead and host a Cluster Indoor Athletics Tournament at Swansea's Indoor Athletics Track. A big thanks must go to Mrs Percival for organising this superb event.
What a fantastic decision it proved to be! The event brought together pupils from across our cluster schools for a wonderful morning of competition, teamwork and sporting excellence. The atmosphere was incredible, with children supporting one another, giving their very best and demonstrating great determination in every event.
We were immensely proud of our own team, who represented Penclawdd with enthusiasm, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the morning. They were a credit to themselves, their families and our school.
A huge well done to all the schools who took part and helped make the event such a success. It was truly a superb morning of athletics, celebrating participation, friendship and a shared love of sport. 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏅
Da iawn, Team Penclawdd! ![]()

🏃♂️🏉✨ Game On –OiTC Beach Rugby 2026! ✨🏉🏃♀️
🏉 Our rugby team, expertly trained by Mr W and Mr C took part in the Ospreys Beach Rugby Tournament on 26th June – what an amazing opportunity!

Playing on the sand brought a whole new challenge, and our pupils embraced every moment with enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship. Throughout the session, they demonstrated fantastic teamwork, resilience and respect, representing Penclawdd Primary School brilliantly both on and off the pitch. Penclawdd Team were amazing, scoring lots of tries but most importantly having the best time!! Can’t wait for next year!

A huge thank you to Mr W and Mr C for giving up their time to train and support our dedicated rugby team. Their commitment and encouragement helped our players develop confidence, skills and a real love of the game.
This tournament was particularly special as it marked the final sporting event for Mr W as a PPS parent. As his youngest child now prepares to move on to Gowerton School, we would like to express our sincere thanks for everything he has done for our pupils over the years. His dedication, generosity and unwavering support of school sport have provided countless opportunities for our children, and we are incredibly grateful for the time and energy he has given to our school community. Thank you, Mr W, for being such a valued member of #TeamPenclawdd. We wish you and your family every success and happiness as you begin this exciting new chapter.

🦩💰 Flamingo Entrepreneurs Pop-Up Market Stall 💰🦩
What a fantastic success our Flamingo Entrepreneurs Pop-Up Market Stall was! Our young business owners showed incredible creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm as they worked together to raise funds for their end-of-term party.
From planning and preparing to selling and serving customers, the children embraced every aspect of the enterprise experience and thoroughly enjoyed seeing their hard work pay off. The stall was buzzing with excitement, and it was wonderful to see the children developing important skills whilst having so much fun.
A huge thank you to all our wonderful families for your support. Whether you donated items, visited the stall or made a purchase, your generosity helped make the event such a success.
Most importantly, seeing the children's faces light up throughout the event was simply priceless. Their excitement, pride and smiles were truly infectious, and they should all be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
Well done, Flamingos – you've shown that with a little creativity, teamwork and determination, great things can happen! 🎉🦩💛
