Activity 1 – Writing Task

Year 1/Blwyddyn 1

Year 2/Blwyddyn 2

Bob works on the moon every day.

  • Draw a picture of Bob on the moon.
  • Write 2–3 simple sentences about what Bob does.
  • Use describing words such as quiet, lonely, cold, bright.

Example:
Bob cleans the moon.
The moon is quiet and cold.

 

Bob has an important job, but people don’t always believe him.

  • Write 4–5 sentences describing Bob’s job on the moon.
  • Use:
    • Adjectives
    • Capital letters and full stops
    • At least one feeling word

Challenge:
Explain why Bob’s job is important, even if people don’t notice it.

 

Activity 2 – Oracy Task

Pretend you are Bob.

  • A visitor asks: “What do you do on the moon?”
  • Practise answering in a clear voice.
  • Add: “How do you feel when you are on the moon?”

Try acting this out with a grown-up.

 

Imagine you are interviewing Bob.

  • Write 3 questions you would ask him
    (e.g. “Do you ever feel lonely?”)
  • Practise saying the questions aloud.
  • Now pretend to be Bob and answer using feelings words
    (lonely, proud, tired, happy).

Add capital letters and full stops:
