As we reach the end of the 2025-2026 academic year, I find myself reflecting with immense pride on yet another year filled with achievement, growth ,laughter, and unforgettable experiences.

Penclawdd Primary School continues to be a very special place, and I feel incredibly fortunate to lead such a vibrant and caring school community. Every day, I am reminded that our success is built upon the strength of our relationships and the shared commitment we all have to ensuring that every child flourishes. Together, we have created countless opportunities for our pupils to learn, grow, challenge themselves and make memories that will last a lifetime.

❤️ To our amazing staff team – thank you for your unwavering dedication, enthusiasm and care. Your commitment to providing rich, authentic and meaningful learning experiences for our children is extraordinary. Whether in the classroom, on educational visits, residentials, Y6 leavers, on sports fields, in performances or supporting wellbeing, you consistently go above and beyond. ❤️ To our families – thank you for your continued partnership, trust and encouragement. The support you provide at home and your involvement in school life make a tremendous difference. Working together, we can achieve the very best for our children, and we are grateful to have such a supportive school community.

❤️ To our Friends of Penclawdd – what a year it has been! Thank you for the energy, enthusiasm and countless hours you devote to supporting our school. From discos and fayres to fundraising initiatives and special events, your kindness and commitment help provide opportunities and experiences that enrich the lives of our pupils.

A special thank you goes to our wonderful Chair, Lynsey, who says goodbye to PPS this year as her youngest child moves on to Gowerton School. Lynsey's dedication, leadership and tireless support over many years have made a significant impact on our school community. We are incredibly grateful for all she has done and wish her family every happiness for the future.

Whether through partnerships, donations, volunteering, attending events or simply championing our school, your support enables our children to see the true meaning of community and belonging. A special mention must go to our fantastic Year 6 pupils. As you prepare to begin your next exciting chapter at secondary school, remember that you will always be part of the Penclawdd family. We are so proud of each and every one of you and cannot wait to hear about your future successes.
