Moana Crew -Primary Partners 2026

🎭 Penc Choir – Primary Partners - Grand Theatre πŸŽ

🌊🎭✨ So Proud of Our Moana Crew ✨🎭🌊

🌺What an incredible moment for our Penclawdd family -our amazing Moana Crew took to the stage at the Grand Theatre, Swansea as part of Primary Partners… and they were simply outstanding. 🌟

🌺Not everyone gets the opportunity to perform on such an iconic stage, and our children embraced every second of it with confidence, pride and pure joy. From the first note to the final bow, they truly shone. 🎢✨We also want to thank all our families for their amazing support.

This journey has been about so much more than a performance -it’s been about teamwork, dedication, resilience and believing in themselves. We couldn’t be prouder of what they have achieved. β€οΈπŸ–€

🌺The vocals sung beautifully by our choir and some lovely solos from Osian , Iris, Nyla and Cara - a real highlight and a glimpse of the incredible talent within our group. 🎀✨

🌺A huge thank you to Mrs D and Miss H for their incredible commitment, passion and support in making this experience possible. And to our wonderful families, diolch for your constant encouragement -it makes all the difference.

🌺This is a moment our children will remember forever… and so will we. 🌟

🌺Da iawn, Moana Crew -you made us all so proud! πŸ‘πŸŒŠπŸ’›

🌍✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom – Real Experiences, Real Inspiration! ✨🌍

This term our #PencStarfish learning journey has taken us far beyond the classroom, bringing our topics to life through a range of incredible, hands‑on experiences.

🎒 A trip to a theme park? Not quite - but the amazing Immersive Suite at @UWTSD was the next best thing! A huge thank you to Calum for an inspiring session that has really supported our planning and design thinking.

🎑 Next a  visit to @MumblesPier — including a ride on The Big Wheel — gave us a completely new perspective and sparked lots of creative ideas.

🏠 And of course… the upside‑down house was an unexpected treat that added even more excitement to the day!

And the adventures don’t stop there… πŸ‘€

πŸ›οΈ In Y3/4 to deepen our learning even further, we headed to a Roman Fort in Caerleon, where pupils explored the baths, amphitheatre, barracks and museum, as well as taking part in an education workshop to study real Roman artefacts.

🌿 Our #Penc34 learners are also looking forward to a very special visit to the Gower Heritage Centre and Three Cliffs Bay, working alongside Portmead Primary School. They will create their own snack boxes from locally sourced food and learn more about our beautiful local area - all thanks to funding from National Landscapes.

At Penclawdd Primary, we believe these experiences are essential. They allow our learners to make meaningful connections, build curiosity, and understand the world around them in a real and purposeful way. By putting learning into context, we empower our pupils to think deeply, ask questions and remember their learning long after the moment has passed.

From immersive technology to local exploration and historical discovery, this is learning at its very best - authentic, inspiring and unforgettable. πŸ’›

β˜•πŸ’› Baking with Care for Our Community πŸ’›β˜•

Last week our amazing young chefs/ waiters and Mrs B have been busy in the kitchen preparing something very special for our friends at Cuppa Club… delicious, homemade sausage rolls! πŸ₯βœ¨

From mixing and shaping to baking and preparing, the children showed fantastic teamwork, independence and pride in their work -developing real‑life skills while thinking of others at the heart of it all.

There’s something so special about creating food for others, and this was done with so much care and kindness… we just know they’re going to taste amazing!

We know our Cuppa Club friends enjoyed  , as much as we enjoyed making them. β€οΈπŸ–€

Feedback ...Thank you boys. The sausage rolls were delicious and you were all so polite. X

A lovely reminder of how learning, community and generosity come together at Penclawdd.
