At Penclawdd Primary School we strongly encourage all pupils from Nursery to Year 6 to wear our school uniform. There are many advantages of a uniform which are beneficial to parents and carers. Our policy for pupils’ school uniform is based on the belief that a school uniform promotes a sense of pride in the school, engenders a feeling of community and belonging as children proudly wear our logo which is displayed on the jumper, it is practical and smart identifies the pupils with the school, makes pupils feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance. It is regarded as suitable, and good value for money by most parents and has been designed with health and safety in mind. Children are encouraged to wear dark coloured joggers/trousers which can be easily purchased.
Occasionally, children lose or misplace articles of clothing. Please ensure all items are labelled.
