Our Rights Respecting Ambassadors are very proud of their role in school. Chosen from Y5/6 they lead other pupils in developing their understanding of the UNCRC United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child. The Ambassadors meet regularly with Mrs Percival leading the Rights Respecting work in school.
The Rights Respecting Ambassadors through our rights hope to help children:
Enjoy and feel empowered by their education.
Feel that their school responds to their needs.
Have the opportunity to let adults know their feelings and opinions about things that affect them.
Have a say about decisions, and to play an active role in making their school a better place.
Develop active life skills through participation.
Develop as global citizens
